Do you secretly doubt the market like your clients?

Every Realtor I talk to brings up a common challenge they're facing.

They've got people interested in making a move, but they're hesitant. 

It turns into a lot of activity going to see houses and discussing options that ends with no offers and what feels like a waste of time.

But, listen to this… your clients are thinking something they're not saying out loud:

💭 "Well, would you buy a house right now? Rates are high, World War 3 is starting, and home prices seem like they've got to come down."

It would be a mic drop moment if they actually said it because most Realtors wouldn't have a response other than "you're right…"

So, what do we do about this?

You've got to believe in what you're selling. 💪

If you don't believe in real estate, why would you expect your clients to?

And believing isn't about brainwashing yourself to forget the negatives and embellish the positive. 

It's about seeing the big picture and the dominoes that really matter to our local markets. 

Recently, stats were released that highlight a huge trend that you can't ignore.

It's not only some eye-popping numbers, it's one of the most powerful reasons to believe in the strength of our markets.

Yes, you read that correctly.

in 2023 (the most recent data), Florida gained more wealth than the next five states combined!

And we know the wealth hasn't left the state since then, either...

If that doesn't get you fired up about opportunities for growth in the Sunshine State, I'm not sure what will.

 

🔀 This isn't random. It points to a long-term play. 

Let's be clear: this move isn't an accident.

Wealth doesn't decide on a whim to completely relocate.

The structural things that brought the money here (low taxes, business-friendly government, favorable weather, desirable lifestyle, etc.) aren't changing.

We've seen the initial boost to real estate prices and sales that comes with a transition like this, but that's not the end.

In fact, there's a multiplier effect that makes this big move even bigger.

More jobs, more spending, more growth.

You see, New York and California were the dominant states for the past 100 years, but they're going in reverse.

Florida and Texas are replacing them at the top.

And that's just one of the many reasons I believe in real estate in Florida.

 

🫵 You must provide the confidence your clients need.

So, what do we do with all this?

We've got to believe in our market first, and then confidently share when asked.

When you do this, the people you talk to will be drawn into the energy rather than pausing at your hesitation.

Clients borrow your confidence.

That will be the difference between helping them achieve their goal and wondering why deals are always an uphill battle to get to closing.

So, this week, when a client starts to express their hesitations, recognize it as the opportunity you've been waiting for. 👀

The goal isn't to change their mind.

It's not to predict the future.

Your goal is to clearly share why you believe in our market with passion and excitement.

Don't hold back. Don't worry about what they'll think.

This confidence creates trust.

The data adds conviction.

Your belief becomes contagious.
