Realtors in many ways live in a bubble.
We've got our own local ecosystem with a social hierarchy of agents that's constantly moving.
Success is generally measured in sales volume and comparison is everywhere.
But one thing is for sure: the outside world looks at real estate agents very differently than we look at ourselves.
You could be making $250,000 a year and crushing it, but in the public's mind, you're "just another Realtor."
The knee jerk reaction is to dismiss it and act like it doesn't matter...
But the truth is most Realtors who work their way to selling $5M, $10M, or even $20M+ end up working with higher-end clients who speak a different language, value education, and prefer a credentialed pedigree.
You might have made it into the room, but do you feel like you really belong?
Not many do.
And that's something I want to change!
