Realtors are like ranch dressing (surprisingly)

Look around and most Realtors deal with the same issues.

We're like a big, dysfunctional family in a support group.

And what would you say if I asked each one of you what your biggest challenge is right now?

For some, it'd be interest rates. They're too high and dragging down business.

For others, it'd be finding more clients. No people, no deals.

Plenty would say getting clients to listen...

But the vast majority of Realtors have a bigger challenge they're not even aware of.

Most people think Realtors are the same. 👯

The truth is, the public generally thinks Realtors are a dime a dozen. 

"Who you use to buy or sell doesn't really matter. They all do the same things.."

But, you and I both know this isn't true. 

It's just like if I told you all ranch is the same.

Technically, it's ranch. But restaurant ranch is in a league of its own!

Plenty of people would pay a premium and go out of their way to get restaurant ranch over the options in the grocery store because it's that good.

And Realtors and ranch are more similar than you'd think.

There's good ones and bad ones.

It takes experiencing the difference to be able to appreciate the good ones.

Now, there's two important points we need to recognize here:

  1. Most buyers and sellers only make a real estate transaction once every 5-10 years, so they have very little context for what a good Realtor actually is.
  2. Most Realtors struggle to articulate the value they bring and end up sounding like every other agent around town.

When you combine these two things, the game reduces down to who's most available and/or who will do it for less.

It's a shame. 

You've got to solve the right problem. 🎯

So, as we get to the midyear point, it's time to refocus and game plan for a strong second half.

Instead of spending time and energy trying to master AI, calling tons of cold leads, or holding open houses every weekend until November, we should focus on the most important problem you need to solve.

You need to understand what makes you irreplaceable.

What's your superpower?

Why should somebody wait until you're available to meet with you instead of going with who answers first?

Because knowing your value is a domino that gets the whole row going.

You get clear on your self-worth and you start to feel confident. 

You gain an abundance mindset and stop pandering to anyone who seems remotely interested in real estate.

And you take back control of your business.

Over the next few weeks, I want you to think of restaurant ranch and what makes you someone worth paying a premium for.
